summer routines

With Tolga gone I need to buckle down into my new routine - my summer survival routine.
Wake up between 6-7:30 and go for a job with Tuana in the stroller.
Breakfast / Laundry
Lather and suit up kids - go to beach.
Return and shower
Lunch
Tuana's nap
Work on house projects while Tuana's sleeping.
Try to finish project while she's awake.
Dinner
ice cream
showers again
Laundry
bed for kids
ME TIME!  (begin other projects that involve sitting, writing, reading, drinking a cold beverage).

So the jogging thing most likely will never happen.  But it sounds nice, running on the beach - however, morning to night its non-stop movement.  The ME time is very iffy as well - depending on lots of factors - but there it is, my summer plans.

Walking back from the beach our neighbors, two houses over, were robbed.  We live in Nur Sitesi, they live in Alisah Sitesi.  These are names of communities with identical houses and cooperatives that set the rules fro the community.  These particular neighbors I've dubbed the perfect neighbors because their house has no mistakes, they have very little junk out, their grass is perfect, their kid is never sweaty or dirty nor has ice cream smeared all over her mouth and down her dress.

Among other things, the thieves took their BMW car keys - I guess it was a spare set because they still have their car.  Summer houses are prime targets for thieves.  People vacationing with cash and passports, their houses are a gold mine.  Most houses have iron bars on the windows or metal/aluminum shutters that can be pulled down and locked - even up on the third floor.  Typical Turkish paranoia, but then again - we have a neighbor robbed almost every year.

It made me kind of glad our house isn't so perfect looking.

I also need to add locking everything and hiding valuables to my routine...
