what word comes next?

Exercise - Write the first sentence of a narrative.  Any sentence.  Take two or three words form that first sentence and use them again in the second sentence.  Then take two or three words from those first two sentences and use them in the third sentence.

I have experienced very few tragic deaths in my life.  In the way a newborn fills my soul drunk with the miracle of life, a tragic death sobers me to the war of this world.  The war of life and death, good and evil.   A war where evil and death have reigned since the beginning miracle of Man.  From the smallest, careless choices I make - for light or for darkness - this war rages in the spiritual realm.  But like a war in a far removed country - I can keep my eyes closed in the darkness, doubly blind.  Until a tragic death pries my eyes open and cries: LOOK AT ME!
