My kids are slowly getting more and more tired. We are visiting with my friends everyday, but trying to limit the blocks of time because Teoman and Paula's middle one, Ryan, are pretty hard to contain. Not to mention, their one-and-a-half year old is a runner, and their eight year old is constantly fighting with the five year old.
We took them all to the city center today. My friends wanted to eat out and see the cruise ships coming into port. There was one ship - but hardly even a ferry size. I had heard many of the companies had cancelled their travel to Kusadasi port because of the terrorist threats - including all of the American companies.
The entire downtown of Kusdasi's businesses are built for these cruise ships that come into town - the promenade and shops beautifully lining a wide walkway. Again, I have yet to find a good place for lunch in town in the midst of a tourist district - but we had fish, kids had burgers, and we all got quite a bit of sun.
I also had to cut our time - while others wanted to eat ice cream and go to the park - I had to sit, change a poopy diaper and nurse.
Tourism is just not for parents with young families.

| I'm wearing the "Moby" - it's supposed to be organic, natural and comfortable - what it is, is 50 yards of material |
