unseasonably

I was at North High again, teaching gym class. I love gym class. It was high school strength training class and my day was over by 12:15pm.

I came home and studied Turkish, read another Newbery Medal book, looked up recipes, went on a walk with my husband and my brother's dog in the unseasonably warm weather (56!).

I came home and started another project - logging fitness online. It was more work than actually exercising which I didn't have time for because the entries took too long.

Mom didn't work tonight, so we all stayed up and watched "Marley and Me".

  1. Hey Sweetie -- did anything come of this yet? It's been a week...I didn't read for a couple days there and now I missed the chance to pray for you -- so I'll be doing it now! And Tolga getting up at 3...oy! how're the evenings going for you guys? I applaud your determination (both of you) and hope the teaching job FINALLY comes through, and that Tolga gets to do something he's trained for. Been thinking of you both again lately -- esp. cause we had the Magusto last weekend (7th) and that was the place we met Tolga, 2 years ago. And today was our (brace yourself) 30th anniversary! Sounds so old, but I don't feel that old! So i was thinking of your wedding/anniversary...and missing you again. Hope we see each other soon. It just occurred to me this probably isn't the kind of comment a blog welcomes, huh? More like a long personal letter...oh well, tough noogies, here it is. Love you & miss you & will pray for you more again. Please do same for us...not enough work for us either. Ouch. Love your man & enjoy your days. xo Ellen

  2. Love the comment letter :) No word on a job yet, thank you for the encouragement. Tolga and I talked about the Magusto as well - I was trying to describe to my mother the chestnut roasting tool you guys used from Portugal and explain why it was so special :) Congrats on the 30th anniversary - we will keep you in our prayers for more work - the right connections, and a wave of seekers. Love and miss you guys!
